The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) was created to help area educators meet their Act 48 credit requirements. The center is a university-wide program administered by the office of Extended Programs. The office is designed to be a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for area educators and university faculty members. Our goal is to provide quality professional development opportunities through workshops and coursework by:

courses may apply for “Non Degree” status by clicking below: CLICK HERE FOR INFO ON THE MASTER OF EDUCATION IN CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION Capital Area/Dixon University Center Open House Come to our Open House for the Masters Of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction scheduled for Sept. 27 from 4:15 PM to 6:00 PM at the Capital Area IU building located in Summerdale, PA.
