Welcome!

The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) was created to help area educators meet their Act 48 credit requirements.  The center is a university-wide program administered by the office of Extended Programs. The office is designed to be a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for area educators and university faculty members.

Our goal is to provide quality professional development opportunities through workshops and coursework by:

• Identifying  educational training needs of the area's educational communities.
• Developing programs to meet educational training needs.
• Helping area educators meet their Act 48 requirements.

ALL those who wish to apply to the MED Curriculum & Instruction Off Campus programs in Elk Co, Lawrence Co, Beaver Valley or Westmoreland MUST go to the GRADUATE STUDIES website to download instructions, forms, etc (only way for you to apply as a degree student).  http://www.clarion.edu/graduatestudies/apply/index.shtml

Capital Area/Dixon University Center Open House

Come to our Open House for the Masters Of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction scheduled for Sept. 27 from 4:15 PM to 6:00 PM at the Capital Area IU building located in Summerdale, PA.
