Procedures for Implementing Curricular Change
This document provides the course and program approval procedures through the Committee on Courses and Programs of Study ("CCPS").

              Cover Sheet for Curricular Changes
              This PDF must be downloaded and saved before any changes are made. It is the cover sheet for CCPS
              Proposals.
              Assigning CIP codes
              Review the course/program description, student learning outcomes, and curriculum to help determine the
              correct CIP code. The website to search CIP codes is: http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/cipcode. Please note the CIP
              code on the coversheet when submitting curricular proposals for courses and programs.

General Education Program and Outcomes
This document provides the philosophy outcomes of Clarion University's general education program, as well as the general education course requirements.

              General Education Program Course Request
              This form should be used to submit requests to qualify a course as a general education course.  
              This PDF must be downloaded and saved before any changes are made.

              General Education Program Flag Request
              This form should be used to submit requests to add a "flag" (writing, values, quantitative reasoning) to a
              class.  This PDF must be downloaded and saved before any changes are made.

Distance Education Course Approval Form for Existing Credit-Bearing Courses
This form should be used to submit a proposal to qualify an existing class for distance education modality (ITV, Web).
