STANDARD EQUIPMENT

Faculty and staff can also reserve video projectors and laptops for instructional use and presentations. View the list of equipment types here.  Please note that video cameras are not available for loan. 

Please take time to read the policies and procedures below before borrowing equipment.

RESERVING EQUIPMENT

Please use the online form below to reserve laptops or projectors only. Reservations must be submitted at least 3 days prior to needed date(s). First priority will be given to requests supporting academic instruction. Once a request is received, it will be reviewed for availability and a confirmation will be sent to the person making the request. To check out equipment, the requester must reserve, pick up and return the equipment to the LTC in G-13 Still Hall. There is no on-site delivery available.  

If someone other than the requestor picks up the equipment, an authorization form must be submitted at the time of pickup.

ITEP - Instructional TEchnologY Exploration Program

In collaboration with the University Technology Advisory Committee (UTAC), Computing Services is pleased to offer the Instructional Technology Exploration Program (ITEP). This program provides faculty with the opportunity to explore a variety of new technology equipment for short-term loan. Staff are also welcome to utilize the service, but equipment is limited and preference will be given to faculty on all requests.

• (2) Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Android-based Tablets
• (2) Apple iPads – 4th Generation
• (2) Samsung Series 3 Chromebooks
• (2) Dell Venue Pro tablets with Windows 10
• (1) Dell touch screen laptop with Windows 10
• (1) Microsoft Surface Pro 3 with Windows 10

 Loan Period

The initial loan time is for two weeks. Weekly extensions may be possible based on availability and other requests. LTC staff will provide a brief 1:1 orientation session on the use of the device along with a basic user guide and operational support.

Reserving Equipment

To request use of the ITEP equipment, please contact the Learning Technology Center by e-mailing  ltcsupport@pennwest.edu, calling x1848, or stopping by G-13 Still Hall. To check out equipment, the requester must reserve, pick up and return the equipment to the LTC in G-13 Still Hall. There is no on-site delivery available.
