History
The Small Business Development Center at Clarion University was begun in 1980. The Clarion SBDC is one of 18 Small Business Development Centers in Pennsylvania and is an accredited affiliate of the National Network of Small Business Development Centers

Services
The Clarion SBDC provides consulting services and educational programs to entrepreneurs and small firms in Armstrong, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Elk, Forest, Jefferson, McKean, Potter, and Venango Counties looking to start or grow a small business. From helping aspiring entrepreneurs turn ideas into businesses, to helping small firms expand, to providing the information every business person needs to make critical decisions, the SBDC is the resource entrepreneurs in all industry sectors can turn to for help that can make the difference between success and failure. The Clarion SBDC maintains a small business Knowledgebase Blog that contains many topics related to starting and expanding businesses in the Clarion SBDC 10 county region.

The Clarion University Small Business Development Center is located at 102 Still Hall in Clarion Pennsylvania and is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

NORTH FORK REHABILITATION CENTER OPENS WITH CLARION SBDC HELP: Boasting one of the only aqua-therapy pools in the region and all of the latest physical rehabilitation equipment, North Fork Rehabilitation Inc., held the grand opening of its new facilities in the Brookville Industrial Park, just off the Hazen exit of I-80, on August 8.
