Renewable Scholarship Information and Forms
Each Fall a renewable $500 scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman. To be eligible, an applicant must:

be a declared mathematics or mathematics education major

score at least 600 on the mathematics portion of the SAT's, with a total of at least 1150
-
be ranked in the top fifth of his/her class
-
send a typed letter of application, including interests, activities, and plans for the future

have two recommendation forms sent, at least one of which from a mathematics teacher, commenting on potential for success, leadership skills, and work ethic.

To maintain the scholarship, the recipient must

remain a declared mathematics or mathematics education major
-
maintain at least a 3.30 QPA in mathematics
-
maintain at least a 3.00 QPA overall
