Adventures in Leadership summer camps:
The Center for Leadership and Involvement will host two camps in the summer of 2012 called Adventures in Leadership. One camp will be for rising high school freshmen through rising high school seniors; the other camp will be for college-age students and older. The camps will explore leadership issues and build leadership experience through self-exploration and community involvement activities. Participants will: identify and align personal interests with community needs; build and strengthen leadership skills and understanding of group dynamics; and achieve individual goals by using problem-solving techniques to facilitate engagement in society. These camps will incorporate community involvement and the Clarion University Low Ropes Challenge Course to develop individual leadership. Some components of the camp will take place outdoors and off-site. Transportation to off-site locations is included.
REGISTRATION FEE is $525 per participant, which includes housing and meals.
July 8-13 High School Camp (registration deadline is June 18)
July 29-Aug. 3 College/Adult Camp (registration deadline is July 9)
