What's going on within this organization?
Well, we still have t-shirts available for those who would want one, the cost is $12. They are light yellow with dark blue lettering. The front has CU with little objects inside the letters and underneath that there is Teacher Education Student Advisory Council. The back has this writing: "The mediocre teaches tells, the good teacher explains, the superior teacher demonstrates, the great teacher inspires."

We sponsor the Teacher Educators Start Today or T.E.S.T. Speaker Series. This is a speaker series that the TESAC holds every year around February-March to have prominent educators come and talk about important and timely educational topics. It's an amazing time. At the end, if you attend four out of the five presentations, you will receive a certificate for your portfolio and an activity that can be added to your Co-Curricular Transcript..
The other activities going on within TESAC include:
1. Make a Difference Ribbon Project
2. Mentoring Program for Freshmen
3. After School Volunteering Program
To learn about these and future projects, please come to our next TESAC meeting. It is advertised on the iClarion Portal and on the TESAC bulletin board in the hallway next to 127 Stevens Hall. Hope to see you there!
