An African American Read-In is scheduled Thursday, Jan. 15, from 2-4 p.m. in the main level of Carlson Library at Clarion University to celebrate the life and spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The Clarion University Martin Luther King Jr. committee invites all to participate in the activities by bringing a poem, song, rap, page from a special book by an African American writer that evokes the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and read it during this time.
The program is free and open to the public.
