Clarion University has announced the Spring 2008 recipients of the Ross Rankin Graduate Scholarships. Each received $250 to be applied to the Spring 2009 semester.
Ross Rankin and Family Graduate Scholarships are open to full-time and part-time graduate students currently be enrolled in one of Clarion University's graduate programs, who have completed nine graduate credit hours by the time of application. Part-time students must enroll for at least six credits during the semester the funds will be used. Students must be in good academic standing, with at least a 3.0 QPA in their program. Applicants for the scholarship must state their scholarly goals and show their service to the University and community at large.

Catherine Adams is seeking a master's degree in library science. She received her undergraduate degree in English from Penn State University. She is a daughter of Arthur and Jane Adams of Willow Grove and is a graduate of Abington High School.
Ivy Asiedu is seeking a master's degree in library science. She is an international student from West Africa and earned her undergraduate degree in accounting/business administration with a minor in fine arts from Cheyney University.
Joseph Fiedor is seeking a master's degree in biological science. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Clarion University. He is the son of James and Darlene Fiedor of Penfield and is a graduate of DuBois High School.
Kimberly Frisk of Frombell is seeking a master's degree in biology/pre-dental. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Penn State Behrend. She is a graduate of Riverside High School.
Mila Heineman is seeking a master's degree in communication and speech disorders. She received her undergraduate degree in communication and speech disorders from Clarion University. She is the daughter of Karl and Linda Heineman of Seneca and is a graduate of Cranberry High School.
Alana Justice is seeking a master's degree in library science. She received her undergraduate degree in elementary education from Elizabethtown College and currently works at the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library in Mechanicsburg. She is the daughter of Earl and Carol Linderman Justice of Shiremanstown.
Cholpon Kalpankova is seeking a master's of business administration. She is the daughter of Zoya Tulegenova and Chynarbek Kalpakov of Ishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and she received her undergraduate degree in American studies and economics from American University - Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan.
Brian Kehler is seeking a master's degree in English. He is the son of Anne and Martin Kehler of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and received his undergraduate degree from Alcorn State University.
Meredith MacRae is seeking a master's degree in library science. She received her undergraduate degrees from Towson University in Maryland and University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. She is the daughter of Helen and Louis Catalfo Jr. of Baltimore, Md., and is a graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute High School.
Chuckwudebe Nwanze of Nigeria is seeking a master's degree in biology. He received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Lincoln University.
