Venango College is a close-knit community of knowledgeable, resourceful, enthusiastic, and caring faculty and staff who are dedicated to helping students achieve academic and personal success. Medical Imaging science majors who complete their first two years of general education at Venango College benefit in several ways from the individualized attention they receive.
The small size of classes results in a low student/teacher ratio and provides students the opportunity to work closely with professors in establishing a solid academic foundation upon which to build their future clinical education.
Venango College Resources
Medical Imaging Sciences students also enjoy resources made available to them through the School of Nursing and Allied Health including the personalized attention of a dedicated staff.
The Learning Support Center offers free tutoring for coursework specific to the B.S., Medical Imaging Sciences as well as assistance with study skills. Free student counseling services are offered and are readily accessible. Support services continue to be available free of charge to medical imaging sciences students in their junior and senior years as they complete their clinical education off campus at affiliated clinical sites.
Beautiful, new student apartments enhance the Medical Imaging Sciences student experience. Students accepted to UPMC Northwest School of Radiologic Technology may find student apartments convenient as they complete their last two years of clinical education.
