B.S.N. Program Description
Clarion's NLNAC-accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) Program is an on-line program. The program is intended to build upon the background and knowledge of registered nurses and to afford them the opportunity to continue their education at a professional level. The program's primary goals are the provision of educational experiences designed to promote scientific inquiry, creative thinking, critical judgment, and personal development.
Clarion University's B.S.N. program integrates liberal arts with career education at the RN level, establishing the basis for a variety of B.S.N. learning activities that focus on professional nursing practice. In addition, the B.S.N. program at Clarion University provides a foundation for graduate education at the master's and doctoral levels. Clarion University accepts transfer credits from other accredited colleges and universities.
