Clarion University hosts 16th legal coference

Clarion University's Center for Legal Education recently hosted its 16th Annual Legal Conference was held at the Clarion Holiday Inn.

A variety of legal experts discussed topics of importance to the legal profession, including family law, choice of business entity, estate planning, income taxes, criminal sentencing statutes, and current developments in Pennsylvania legislation. The conference also featured its popular Judge's Panel, featuring Judges James Arner of Clarion County, John Foradora of Jefferson County, and Richard Masson of Elk and Cameron counties.

Fifty-eight attorneys and judges attended the all day conference, obtaining continuing legal education credits necessary to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

A video replay of the conference will be shown at Clarion University - Venango Campus on Friday, April 24, 2009. The 17th Annual Legal Conference will be held again at the Clarion Holiday Inn on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009.
