Registrar's Office - Enrollment and Degree Verifications

Students may need verification of their enrollment status at Clarion University for a variety of reasons such as eligibility for insurance coverage or financial aid.

Verification that a student is scheduled for a particular term can be processed once a schedule has been prepared for that term. Verification of actual enrollment can only be processed once the semester has begun.

Undergraduate students with a schedule of 12 or more credits will be certified as full-time and students with less than 12 credits will certified as part-time (three quarter time, half time or less than half time).

Graduate students with a schedule of 9 or more credits will be certified as full-time and students with less than 9 credits will be certified as part- time.

Enrollment Verification Options

1.  How to obtain your enrollment verification through the National Student Clearinghouse web site:

• Go to www.studentclearinghouse.org
• Click on the Students & Alumni tab
• Click on Enrollment Verify, then click Credit Card Purchase
  (there is a $2.50 fee per certificate, which can be charged to a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit card)
• Print your Enrollment Verification Certificate

2.  How to obtain your enrollment verification through Clarion University:

• Students may pick up a Request for Enrollment Verification form in the Registrar's Office, 122 Carrier.  Enrollment verifications can be picked up, mailed or faxed.  There is no charge for enrollment verifications processed through the Registrar's Office.
