Dr. Rod Raehsler, professor of economics at Clarion University, recently had a research paper accepted for presentation at the 2009 Allied Social Science Association meetings scheduled to Jan. 2-5, 2009, in San Francisco, Calif.
His paper was accepted through the American Economic Association; the premier academic organization in economics and extremely selective concerning papers allowed in the conference. This is the fourth time Raehsler has had a paper selected for presentation by the American Economic Association since coming to Clarion University.
Raehsler's current paper determines student characteristics and teaching methods that empirically enhance student performance in pre-principles economics courses. The paper will be presented during a session dealing with the economics of education.
