The Northwest Alliance has established a Rural Health Care Clinic to provide people in northwest Pennsylvania with specialized HIV/AIDS health care services. The Alliance has contracted with HIV/AIDS medical specialists to travel throughout the region to provide medical care to patients. The medical specialists are available to local primary care physicians for consultation.
The Northwest Alliance employs or subcontracts with nurses, doctors, medical case managers, peer advocate, and a dietitian, to provide treatment for those individuals who are HIV infected in Northwest Pennsylvania.
All services are confidential as staff follows ACT 148 and HIPAA regulations
