The B.S.B.A. Requirement Sheet provides the student with a view of the courses needed to fulfill the graduation requirements of their program. Fourty-eight credit hours are required in general education (this includes 9 credit hours in the sciences, 9 credit hours in the social & behavioral sciences, and 9 credit hours in the arts and humanities). This check sheet also outlines the lower and upper division business core courses and leaves open room for the 24 credit hours in the student's major (accounting, economics, finance, human resource management, international business, management, marketing, or real estate) and 15 credit hours of free electives.
All students pursuing a BSBA degree must complete a minimum of six (6) credit hours of coursework with international content. Students must complete three (3) credit hours of international content coursework from a selection of upper-division business courses. Students may choose from the list of upper-division business courses with international content or from the list of general education courses with international content. The list of approved courses with international content is located here.
Credit for Life Experience:
We recognize that many of us have had educational experiences through employment opportunities and other venues. Credit for life experience is one way to add additional value to these experiences through gaining college credit for them.
QPA and Residency Requirements for Transfer Students:
We encourage our transfer students to carefully read this policy. Important to note about this policy, should a student transfer to Clarion without meeting the QPA requirements to come into the College of Business Administration, they will be welcomed into the College of Business Administration upon earning the required QPA through their Clarion University course work.
