Phil TermanDr. Philip Terman, Clarion University professor of English, will perform at the Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts’ third annual Poetry and Jazz Concert at 2 p.m. Nov. 10 at Lincoln Hall in Foxburg.

The event will create the feel of a 50s and 60s coffee house. Terman will join fellow poet Andy Johnson of Slippery Rock University on stage with the jazz band Catro. Terman, author of six books of poetry, will read his work as the band creates a melody to complement his poetry. 

Tickets for the concert are $10 for adults and $5 for children. They may be purchased at the door or reserved by calling 412-867-1816.  

Terman will also recite his poetry Nov. 7 at the Jewish Federation of Sarasota, Fla. He will be featured during the Federation’s Author Series.
