The majority of students attending the Career Fair represent the Colleges of Arts & Sciences and Business Administration.  For a complete list of majors and minors, visit Clarion's Academic Programs page.  Students are interested in meeting with:

  • Employers recruiting for full-time jobs and internships

  • Institutions recruiting for graduate and professional school programs

  • Local organizations or professionals offering job shadowing experiences

Career Fair Schedule

3:00 - 3:45 p.m. Recruiter Check-In and Set-Up
(Carlson Library, Level A)
4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Career Fair (open to all students and alumni)
6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Recruiter Load Out

October 21 - Optional Individual Interviews

8:30 a.m. Recruiter Check-In Begins (Egbert Hall, room 114)
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Individual Interviews
11:30 a.m. Lunch


Registration Fee

The registration fee for for-profit organizations and graduate/professional schools is $25.00.  There is no registration fee for non-profit organizations and federal, state, or military agencies.  Registration includes:

  • One table and chairs.  Due to space limitations, only one table will be available per organization

  • Employer hospitality

  • An online Organization Profile that is made available to students/alumni prior to the event

  • A listing in the printed Career Fair Directory that is distributed to students/alumni at the event

Registration Deadline
Monday, October 5, 2011
  • Recruiter registration is requested by Monday, October 5, 2011.  Inquiries after October 5, 2011 can be made by contacting De Clover at 814-393-2323.  Late registrations may be accepted on a space-available basis, and there is no guarantee that employer information will be included in the printed Career Fair Directory or pre-event promotional materials.

Registration Procedures
  • Complete the online Event Registration Form by Monday, October 5, 2011. If you are unable to access the online registration form, please contact De Clover at 814-393-2323 or e-mail her at dclover@clarion.edu.  

  • Please review your information carefully before pressing the Submit button because this form is used to generate name tags and the Career Fair Directory that will be distributed to students/alumni at the event.

  • After you press the Submit button, an online Confirmation/Invoice will appear.  Print a copy for your records and another copy to enclose with your registration fee.  Payment must be received by Monday, October 10, 2011 to ensure that: (1) a space is reserved for you and (2) your information is included in the Career Fair Directory that is posted online and distributed to students.  Please allow 7 - 10 business days for your check to reach our office.

Refunds

A full refund of the registration fee will be made if cancellation notice is received by Monday, October 10, 2011.

Sponsorships, Support and Advertising Information

Increase your visibility with career fair attendees by becoming an event sponsor or supporter!  All sponsorships help with career fairs and professional development and job search services provided by the Career Services Center. No goods or services are rendered for being a sponsor of the event and donations are tax-deductible. The Federal Tax ID number is provided on the event registration form and registration confirmation letter. The Clarion University Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization.

Event Sponsor:  $250

Event Supporter:  Donate items, such as a door prize, pencils, pens or bags for the Career Fair

Advertising Your Visit to Campus

You may advertise your visit to campus in our weekly campus newspaper which is distributed on Thursdays. Contact The Clarion Call at 814-393-2380 or chief@clarioncallnews.com. In addition, you may advertise on our campus radio station, WCUC, 91.7 FM at 814-393-2330.

Recruiters registering for the Career Fair are also invited to conduct individual interviews on Thursday, October 20 and/or Friday, October 21, 2011.  There is no additional charge for this service.  Click here for details, including how to establish an online account, search resumes, and schedule candidates for interviews.

Recruiters can indicate your intention to conduct individual interviews on the Career Fair Registration Form so an interview table is reserved for you.
