Clarion University Theatre Second Series will present “Awakening” at 8 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26 in Hart Chapel. The show is free and open to the public.
“Awakening” is a collection of scenes and monologues from Shakespeare’s works intertwined with early 20th century German works in the style of expressionism through drama. The theme of self-discovery provides a link between the pieces of the show.
The play is directed by Christian Ryan, Lansdale. The show will feature Kiah Harrington-Wymer, Brookville, and Logan Honsaker, Twinsburg, Ohio, playing multiple roles. The creative team includes John Dobson, Mercer, as co-stage manager and light design; and Payge Crock, Lake City, as co-stage manager, costume consultant and sound operator.
