Reminder Regarding Dependents Over 19 and Not In School
Be sure to remove dependents that are more than 19 years of age and are not in school full-time. Other ineligible dependents also should be removed. Failure to do so in a timely manner could result in:
-
Payment of higher premiums for which you might not receive reimbursement; or,
-
Financial liability for benefits that an ineligible dependent may have received.
When changes in dependent eligibility occur, management employees must complete a benefits enrollment/change form and return it to the HR Office and AFSCME employees must complete the PEBTF-2 Form.
