Suicide is Preventable - BE AWARE, BE ABLE and BE PREPARED

Faculty, staff, students:  Did you know that suicide, the “Silent Epidemic”, is the second leading cause of death for college-aged youth?  The Jason Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of the “Silent Epidemic” of youth suicide through educational and awareness programs that equip young people, educators/youth workers and parents with the tools of and resources to help identify and assist at-risk youth.  Clarion University Counseling Services is partnering with Clarion Psychiatric Center to present The Jason Foundation and how we can work together to prevent youth suicide from 10 a.m. to noon and again from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 9 in Gemmell 250/252. Please participate and learn how you can BE AWARE, BE ABLE and BE PREPARED.
