Robert Qualters: Autobiographical Mythologies written by Vicky A Clark was published by the University of Pittsburgh Press in conjunction with the retrospective exhibition she curated entitled Robert Qualters: A Life which is at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts through April 21st.
Vicky A Clark lectured to the docents at the Carnegie Museum of Art about the history of the Carnegie International as part of their training to lead tour for this upcoming exhibition on September 9th. She will present a variation of that lecture called "When did the Carnegie International become contemporary?" at the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh on November 12th.

is presenting a paper called "In Character: Negotiating Identity through Comioc Relief" in a session called "Redefining the Superhero at the PASSHE Women's Consortium Conference entitled "Woman as Hero" on September 21st. Also presenting is Gabrielle Scrofano who is the assistant in the WGS program at Clarion.
Vicky A Clark curated Once is Not Enough for the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh. It opened at the Mine Factory in Pittsburgh on September 7th. Curator and Artist Talk is September 14th from 6 to 9 pm

BFA Art major Mackenzie Lenhart is organizing an Empty Bowls event to benefit the food bank at Community Action, Inc. A ten dollar donation gets you a meal of soup, a hand-crafted ceramic bowl, and a great feeling inside!
