Drs. Marilyn Harhai and Janice Krueger participated at the Virginia Library Association Paraprofessional Forum. They presented at two consecutive afternoon sessions, the first entitled, “Award Winning Books,” the second on “Educational Opportunities in Library Science.”

Lively discussions on the opportunities for library programming using award-winning titles and advancing professionally in library science engaged the audience. They were also invited to participate in a panel discussion with colleagues from other library science programs on graduate education opportunities and the advantages and disadvantages of pursuing the master's degree online.
