Spring is here, so that means it is time for the annual Clarion Area Brain Injury Support Group’s Brain Safety Fair. This year the fair will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. April 13 at the Cranberry Mall, Franklin. Students from Clarion University National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association, faculty from the communication sciences and disorders department, members of the Clarion Area Traumatic Brain Injury Support Group and community members will provide information and demonstrations to promote increased brain safety awareness. Activities will include egg safety drop, simulations of the effects of brain injury on all of the senses, bicycle safety education and fitting and distribution of free, quality bike helmets.
