Installing WebDrive at Clarion University - For Faculty and Staff on Campus Use
If you want this software on your office computer, you will have to install it using the steps below. You will not have to call the Help Desk to have this software installed. Contact the Help Desk at x2640 if you have any problems with your installation.

Window PC's
- Close all open applications.
- Click Start, Run, and enter the following path in the "Open:" field:
\\taurus\webdrivejupiter$\setupwebdrive.cmd - Click OK in the "Run" window.
- At the message window "This will install WebDrive 6 and copy icons to the desktop" click OK.
- The installer will run and then a license agreement window will open. Click YES.
- Click NEXT at the destination window.
- Icons will appear on your desktop. To refresh the images so they will appear as follows, restart your computer.

Instructions for Macintosh users
To connect to the Jupiter server storage on a Macintosh (OS X), on the menu bar select GO and select CONNECT TO SERVER.

In the "Server Address:" field enter: smb://jupiter.clarion.edu

Once you have connected, a window will open requesting your username and password.
Enter your username and password and click on the OK button. Remember that you have "CLARION"
in the "Workgroup or Domain" field.

If your username and password are correct, you will be prompted for a volume selection. Make sure you specify "home".
You will also have a shortcut on your desktop labeled "HOME". If you have a problem with accessing the Jupiter server, you may need to reset your password.
To reset your password, click here. This process should synchronize your passwords to allow you to connect to the Jupiter server. If you still have problems, contact the help desk for assistance at 393-2640.
IMPORTANT: When you have completed your work, it is important that you drag the "HOME" icon on your desktop to the trash to disconnect from Jupiter to secure your files.
