Connecting an Apple iPod Touch or iPhone to the wireless network
NOTE: Your wireless card must be configured for a DHCP assigned IP address for your computer to connect to the University's wireless networks.
You must be running version 2.0 or higher before you can connect to the wireless network
For Apple iPod Touch or iPhone:
- To determine the operating system version go to General and then About:

- The Version line must be at 2.0 or higher
- Go back to the main menu and tap Settings

- Tap Wi-Fi

- Tap Other...

- Under Name type "cu-wifi-secure" (Clarion campus, except residence halls), "ven-wifi-secure" (Venango campus) or "resnet-wifi-secure" (residence halls).
- Tap Security and choose WPA2 Enterprise, then tap Other Network to go back

- Fill in your iClarion username (do not include @clarion.edu) and password and tap Join

- You will be prompted to accept a certificate, tap Accept

- You should now be connected to the wireless network. Look for a checkmark next to "cu-wifi-secure", "ven-wifi-secure" or "resnet-wifi-secure".

- Go back to the main menu and open the Safari web browser. You should be automatically directed to the Wireless Zone login page.

- Type your iClarion username and password in to the appropriate fields and tap LOGIN. Note: you will need to do this every time you connect to the wireless network.

- You should now be able to access the Internet and Clarion network resources.
