What is the Experience Expo?
The Clarion University Experience Expo is an opportunity for students who are seeking internships, summer jobs, part-time positions, or volunteer opportunities to connect with organizations and non-profit agencies which have these experiences.
This event is co-sponsored by the Career Services Center and the Center for Leadership and Involvement.
Why do employers/agencies attend?
The employers/agencies participate in this event to promote their organizations and to find qualified candidates for available positions.
Who can attend?
All students are invited to attend this free event.
Are there benefits of attending the Experience Expo?
The Experience Expo is a great opportunity to meet with many employers/agencies in a large informal setting. You can make contacts for a summer job, explore internship opportunities, and meet agency volunteer coordinators. In addition, learn application procedures, make professional contacts, discover other career experience options, and obtain insight into required qualifications in one location, on one day.
Should I do anything before the Experience Expo?
There is no need to pre-register for this event. However, we do suggest that that you read the document Making the Most of the Experience Expo (pdf file) for details about what to expect and how to prepare for the Expo. You will be asked to sign in the day of the event. Upon signing in, you will receive an Expo Evaluation form which can be used to enter a door prize drawing.
