ter Horst“The German Quarterly,” a peer-reviewed publication that serves as a forum for new findings and discussion in the field of German education, published Dr. Eleanor ter Horst's article, "Masks and Metamorphoses: The Transformation of Classical Tradition in Goethe's ‘Römische Elegien,’" in its Fall 2012 edition.

ter Horst is associate professor of German in Clarion University’s Modern Languages Department. Her article examines the renowned German author Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's use of the forms and themes of classical Greek and Roman poetry in his cycle of poems, “Roman Elegies.”
