The Belle Carson Randall  Scholarship

This scholarship is endowed by Kay Ordiway ('61) Clark in memory of her aunt, Belle Carson Randall ('29).

Belle Carson graduated from Clarion State Teacher's College in 1929 and began her teaching career in a rural one-room schoolhouse. She continued to teach for the next 30 years and was described by one principal as "an ideal teacher" with "superior teaching ability."

Clarion State Teacher's College produced outstanding teachers in all fields. To continue the Clarion tradition of excellence in teaching, this scholarship enables an incoming Honors Program student majoring in education to begin the journey toward, one day, becoming an "ideal teacher."
