  Building Blocks

For adding frequently used content to your documents, select from a redefined gallery of cover pages, pull quotes, headers and footers to make your documents look more professional  You can even create your own Building Blocks to simplify the addition of custom text, such as legal disclaimer text or other frequently used materials.

Document Design

Able to add a professional looking cover page/report title page.  You have choices of several very nice looking cover pages.  You just select the one you want and a new page is added to the top of the report.  You just click in the editable areas to type in the content.

 

SmartArt Graphics

Enables you to add a chart or diagram very easily.  With just two clicks, you can add the diagram & apply a sharp looking 3D effect.  Each content container asks you what to type into each display.

 

Recent Documents

The "Office Menu" displays a list of recent documents.  Each file has a pushpin icon.  You can click on that icon to "pin" the file name to the list so that it never scrolls off, even if other files were more recently opened.

 

Document Views

You can choose various document views such as Draft, Print, Layout etc..  You can also zoom in and out within those views.  You can display, hide on-screen elements such as rulers, gridlines, and display multiple document windows simultaneously.

 

Quick Styles & Themes

Themes simplify the process of creating matching professional-looking documents.  Although Themes, change the over colors, fonts, and effects that are used, Quick Styles change how to the different colors, fonts, and effects are combined and which color, font, and effect is dominant.

Helps you construct editable, in-line mathematical equations using real mathematical symbols, pre-built equations, and automatic formatting.

Live word count
