Equestrian Winners

The Clarion University–Venango Campus Equestrian Teams successfully competed in two shows in Ohio and West Virginia last weekend. The teams are composed of riders of both Venango and Clarion campuses under the direction of Venango Campus' Intramural and Recreation Department Coordinator Dalyann Fuller.

The Western Equestrian Team turned in a stellar performance on Saturday, November 12, at Simmons Equestrian Center in Ohio, winning five out of six first place ribbons. In the 12b Intermediate 2 Class, Sarah Klingler earned two first place ribbons, while Brittany Feroce earned a first and a fifth place. Kellie Foresman, competing in the beginner class, earned two first place ribbons.

The next day, the English Equestrian Team competed at the West Virginia Equestrian Center. Competing in Intermediate Class, Rachel Wynkoop earned first place and Melanie Daniel earned third. Cody Lauer earned a sixth place ribbon competing in the Beginner Class.
