Description
Formed as Students Against Driving Drunk in 1981, SADD has grown to become the nation's dominant peer-to-peer education and prevention organization with nearly 10,000 chapters in schools and colleges. In 1997, SADD expanded its mission and name to be called Students Against Destructive Decisions.Hosting activities and campaigns on campus, SADD now highlights prevention of destructive behavior and attitudes that are harmful to young people; including underage drinking, substance abuse, impaired driving, violence and suicide.
SADD meets Tuesday at 6:00 pm in 152 Gemmell Student Complex.
