Clarion University is now enrolling military students in its online degree programs for Summer 2008. All interested military members are encouraged to apply.

With online degree programs at Clarion, soldiers can boost their marketability in high-demand professions as they complete military service from anywhere in the world. Clarion University offers two-year associate degrees, four-year bachelor’s degrees, graduate degrees and advanced certificates in the following areas:

Undergraduate Programs

•Associate of Arts Degree

•Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies Degree.

•Early Childhood Associate of Science Degree.

•Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree Completion

•Radiologic Sciences Prerequisite Program

Graduate Programs

•Master of Science in Business Administration (MBA)

•Master of Science in Library Science (MSLS)

•Master of Science in Mass Media Arts and Journalism (MSMMAJ)

•Master of Science in Rehabilitative Sciences (MSRS)

Certificate Programs

•Pennsylvania Secondary Teacher Certification

•The Early Childhood Directors Credential

•Instructional Technology Specialist Certificate (ITSC) Program

All online coursework at Clarion is “asynchronous,” meaning that students can complete assignments at their own pace within the academic term.

Clarion degree programs are approved for the GI Bill, and VA benefits are available. The university offers competitive tuition rates for active-duty personnel.

“The courses required to support these degrees meet the same curricular and instructional standards as classes delivered on campus, and are taught by the same faculty currently teaching in the traditional classrooms,” said Dr. Art Acton, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs. “As a result, the degree you earn online offers the same quality and accreditation as a degree you would earn through the university's traditional on-campus program.”
