Office of Minority Student Services News*

The Office of Minority Student Services is now under Center For Academic Achievement. The mission of the Center for Academic Achievement is to support the retention and graduation of students enrolled at Clarion University of Pennsylvania and its pre-college programs, through a variety of support services that promote academic success, enhance personal development, and provide an equitable educational experience leading to graduation. Along with the Office of Minority Student Services there are many other programs that are also under the Center for Academic Achievement. Some of those programs are as follows.

  • Educational Talent Search (ETS)

  • Upward Bound

  • University Advising Services Center  (UASC)

  • Writing Center

  • Golden Eagle Pre-College Program

  • Academic Enrichment/ Tutoring/Learning Skills

  • TRIO Student Support Services

  • Disability Support Services

  • First Year Experience ( Currently Transitions Services)
