General Parking Information


Commuter lots are red and are available for use by those holding (red) commuter permits.  This includes Reinard Village residents who have purchased on-campus parking privileges.  No overnight parking is permitted in any commuter (red) lot.  Violators will be ticketed for parking 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. 

Resident parking for UPPERCLASSMEN (30+ credits) is designated on the campus map in Royal Blue.

Resident freshman parking is in R3; magenta on the campus map.  only .  Freshman permit holders will be ticketed for parking anywhere on campus other than Lot R3.

Parking Fines will be $15.00 per offense and will double if not paid within 10 working days.  Vehicles are immobilized on campus for 3 or more unpaid tickets.  All outstanding parking fines must be paid before the boot is removed from the vehicle.  Those with 5 or more tickets in an academic year will be charged as a habitual offender and ticket prices will be increased.  Habitual offenders will also be subject to immobilization.  Unpaid tickets may be converted to PA Traffic citations and turned over to the local magistrate's office for prosecution.

Parking in a PA State parking space without a valid State placard will result in a $50 fine for the first offense. Additional violations will be issued state citations.

Parking is free on campus from 4 p.m. until midnight Monday through Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. until Sunday at midnight.  


All Visitors are required to obtain a parking permit at the Office of Public Safety Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
