Taking classes at our Pennsylvania locations

The graduate program in library science is offered at three sites in Pennsylvania: Clarion, Harrisburg and Philadelphia. The MSLS, the school librarian/MSLS and the Certificate of Advanced Studies are available at all sites.

Clarion location information - Provides a face-to-face environment for those individuals who wish to complete their programs on either a full-time or part-time basis. If you wish to be a full-time student, you should begin your studies in the fall semester. If you wish to attend part-time, you may begin in any semester. Face to face courses follow a once per week schedule. Select electives are offered online.

Harrisburg location information - Classes are offered at the Dixon University Center and provides a face-to-face environment for those individuals who wish to complete their programs on a part-time basis. All classes in the program are available to Dixon Center students in either a classroom setting or online. You may begin taking classes during any semester. Face to face courses are scheduled on three weekends across the semester/term -- Friday night from 6:00 to 9:45 P.M. and Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Select electives are offered online. Check the Registrar's schedule for the class dates.

Philadelphia location information - Classes are offered at both the Philadelphia Free Library and at the Cheney University Urban Education Site and provides a face-to-face environment for those individuals who wish to complete their programs on a part-time basis. All classes in the program are available to Philadelphia students in either a classroom setting or online. You may begin taking classes during any semester. Face to face courses are scheduled on three weekends across the semester/term -- Friday night from 6:00 to 9:45 P.M. and Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Select electives are offered online.
