Learning Partnerships

Clarion Logo

Learning partnerships are designed to offer high school students the opportunity to participate in an active learning environment at Clarion University.  Learning Partnership agendas are developed by the Honors Program in conjunction with faculty from various departments.  College students assist with learning partnerships and interact with the high school students.

High school teachers, generally gifted program coordinators, select students to participate based on interest, talents, and expression of intent (essay).  Selection is limited to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors.  However, certain Learning Partnerships may have more specific limitations.  Space is limited.  Contact Lynn Hepfl (814-393-2585) for further information and reservation forms.

It all adds up to a lusty look at true love-the course of which "never did run smooth." Join us and chase away the winter blahs with one of Shakespeare's best loved comedies. Mark Twain's incredible story of Huck Finn is the tale of a boy making his way down the Ohio river in the pre-Civil-War south and the wondrous people he happens to meet upon the way. Filled with beautiful music and the flavor of the old south, the characters bring to life this story of the bonds of friendship that defy the boundaries of race in turbulent times.
