The university is engaging in a self-study for reaccreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Eight task forces have compiled and submitted reports which address the 14 accreditation standards found in the Middle States publication, "Characteristics of Excellence."

The editor of the self-study, Dr. Christopher McCarrick, worked through summer and fall 2011 to merge the task force reports into a self-study report to be submitted to Middle States prior to an on-campus site visit March 18-21, 2012. A draft copy of the self-study report will be posted for review and comment by the university community. Open hearings will be held on the report.
