NSSLHA is a professional organization designed to benefit it’s members by improving preparation of professionals in audiology, speech language pathology, and speech and hearing science. It also:
- Educates, prepares, and increases opportunities for future leaders.
- Provides professional practice in professional issues through leadership opportunities.
- Promotes student interest and involvement in matters of concern to the profession.
- Advances development and maintenance of professional standards through seminars and conventions.
- Promotes the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) professional code of ethics.
