About Professional Development Day

• What is Professional Development Day?
  Professional Development Day is a series of workshops and speakers that will provide intermediate and advanced programming to enhance to career development and job search skills of those who attend.  The sessions will be presented by volunteer employers, alumni and career services professionals.


• Who can attend?
  Juniors or seniors who plan to graduate in May, summer, or December 2012, or May 2013, are invited to attend this free conference.   Some sessions will be streamed live and also recorded for online access after the event. Virtual campus students are especially encouraged to take advantage of these features.


• What are the benefits of attending this event?
  This is a great opportunity to network with employers, gain insight on the job search process from hiring personnel, and learn more in-depth information about job search documents from the employers' perspective.


• Should I do anything before the event?
  
  • Please register online.
  • Have your resume reviewed by the CSC Resume Review Team

Participant Information

• Dress for this event is business casual attire (no jeans or sweats).  For more information on business casual attire, please review these online handouts.
• We highly encourage participants to bring a resume to the event

Note: Lunch will be on your own. However, we encourage you to bring your lunch to one of our Lunch and Learn sessions from 12:15 - 12:45 p.m.

Registration Information and Deadlines

• Please pre-register for the conference by completing the online registration form.
• The conference pre-registration deadline is Monday, February 27, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. to guarantee a pre-printed name tag and conference folder. However, walk-in registrations will still be welcomed.
• The free conference workshop sessions are in Gemmell Student Complex.
