On Dec. 9 at 10 a.m,, Clarion University will test its Eagle Alert emergency text system. If you have registered for the service, you should receive a "test" text on Thursday, Dec. 9. If you do not receive a text because you are not registered for the free service, we encourage you to do so at http://www.clarion.edu/eaglealerts. If you do not receive a text and you believe you are registered, please contact the Help Desk for assistance, helpdesk@clarion.edu or x2640.
The Eagle Alerts system is designed to provide time-sensitive information to university students, faculty and staff in the event of life-threatening events. The system will also be used to let participants know if the campus will close for any reason. The information you enter into this system will not be shared with any outside vendors, nor will it be retained by the university beyond the opt-out date.
