Beginner Computer Concepts
A course designed for first-timers who have never used a computer. You will gain a basic understanding of Microsoft Windows, learn mouse moves, proper care of your computer, how to create and save files using word processors, send and receive email, browse the Internet, and more.
Internet Fun – Email, Browse and Shop
Gain an understanding of the Internet and how it functions. Learn what is available online. Get tips for browsing and searching the Internet. Learn to save favorite sites. Send and receive email, create and use email address books, share photos, and organize email into folders.
Intro to Microsoft Word
Learn the basics of Microsoft Word, including line spacing, character formatting, spell check, colored borders and graphics. Create a mail merge for letters and labels. Learn many tips and tricks for ease of use.
Microsoft Word Intermediate
This class is a follow-up to the Intro to Microsoft Word. Learn more advance Word features such as creating styles and outlines, formatting tables, printing labels and envelopes, working with graphics, creating columns and web pages.
Intro to Microsoft Excel
This class provides you with easy-to-follow, step-by-step lessons to quickly and efficiently learn to use Excel for databases and spreadsheets. You will learn basic functions and formulas and how to format cells to change the appearance of worksheets and create charts from Excel data.
Facebook for Seniors
Facebook makes communication simple and fast. Learn how to set up and use your Facebook account. Communicate with friends and family safely. Learn the privacy settings that will protect your information from getting into the wrong hands. Facebook is a marketing tool, as well. See how you can use it to stay informed about the products you use most.
