After 90 days of listening to students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of Clarion University, I am pleased to share three documents that reflect the comments and suggestions I received through three open forums, many group and departmental meetings, both on and off campus, and personal conversations with over 2,000 individuals. I also read and categorized nearly 70 pages of responses submitted by over 150 respondents to my online "Hitting the Ground Listening" survey.
I am grateful to the university and larger communities for their participation in my listening process. Your expressions of pride in Clarion University and thoughts and concerns about its future have not only helped me to learn about Clarion's culture, traditions, and strengths but also aided in the development of a first generation presidential priority plan, which I am committed to achieving over the next 500 days of the presidency.
I welcome your comments on these reports and invite you to submit them to me at President@clarion.edu.
