Transcripts
Applicants must submit an official transcript from each college or university attended as an undergraduate or graduate student (regardless of whether or not you earned a degree). Official transcripts are issued from colleges/universities in sealed envelopes with the seal of the university and the signature of the registrar on the outside of the envelopes. These transcripts must be sealed by the registrar and remain sealed until their arrival in the Graduate Studies Office at Clarion. If the seal is broken, we will request another transcript from you. All transcripts must be sent with your application.
Graduate applicants who have received their undergraduate degree from Clarion University are not required to provide their Clarion University transcripts.
Transcripts should indicate that a baccalaureate degree has been awarded. Students applying before completion of the degree may submit current transcripts but will be required to submit final transcripts as soon as they are available.
Documents in language other than English must be accompanied by a same format certified English translation.
Recommendation Forms
Applicants must submit at least three current faculty and/or professional recommendations on the Clarion University recommendation forms. Use only these forms. Access information must be completed. Non-waiver of rights of access is not prejudicial to the application.
Completed forms must be signed by the evaluator and placed in a sealed envelope with the evaluator's signature and a piece of tape across the seal and signature. These envelopes must remain sealed until their arrival at the Graduate Studies Office. If the seal/tape is broken or there is no signature of the evaluator, you will be asked to obtain other recommendation forms. All references must be sent with your application portfolio.
Evaluators will receive acknowledgement of receipt of their recommendation forms. References should be from individuals familiar with you as a student. If you cannot access such individuals, seek references from individuals for whom you have worked. MBA applicants should seek references from professors and employers.
Student who have graduated from Clarion University with a baccalaureate degree in communication sciences and disorders (CSD) within the last 10 years do not need to provide letters of recommendation in order to apply to the speech language pathology graduate program.

Test Scores
Applicants to programs that require test scores (GRE, GMAT, MAT, TOEFL, or TSE) must make arrangements to have official test scores sent to the Graduate Studies Office. We encourage you to send copies of your scores for admission consideration. However, we must receive original test scores before you will be accepted into a program.

GMAT test scores are required before admission to the Business Administration program.

GRE test scores may be required by specific academic programs according to their admission guidelines.

TOEFL tests are an admission requirement for international students.
