Studios for student use include: jewelry; sculpture; ceramics; weaving and fiber sculpture/fabric surface design; painting; drawing; printmaking; and graphic design/illustration. Studios are furnished with specialized equipment, and provide working space for students.
The fiber/fabric studio is equipped with looms, fabric printing tables, and dyeing facilities, and the painting studio has easels and drying racks.
Ceramics is outfitted with electric, gas, and Anagama, wood-burning kilns, electric and kick wheels, a mixer, pug mill, extruder, and slab roller.
The print shop has lithographic and etching presses for printing lithographs, serigraphs, monotypes, relief, and intaglio prints. A photo-exposure unit allows for the incorporation of photographic imagery into students' prints.
The sculpture studio is equipped with woodworking and stone carving tools, facilities for both acetylene and arc welding in addition to a separate studio space for advanced students. Additional metalworking equipment is housed in the jewelry area.
Graphic arts utilize a Multimedia Studio (computer lab) with Macintosh and PC computers, scanners, digital cameras, and color and black-and-white printers.
