Terman to open Faculty Author Series
Dr. Phil Terman, professor of English at Clarion University, will kick off the First Faculty Author Seminar Series. Terman will speak on Friday, Sept. 14 at 12:15 p.m. in the Center for Academic Excellence located on Level A of Carlson Library. The presentation is open to the public.

Terman will discuss his new book "Rabbis of the Air: A New Poetry Collection." He will talk about the process of writing the book, its publication, and read several selections. A light lunch will be served.
Upcoming speakers for the series are: Tom Rourke on Oct. 22, Kathleen Welsch on Nov. 14. Susan Prezzano of Feb. 4, 2008, Miguel Olivas-Lujan of Feb. 20, 2008, and Henry Alviani on April 9, 2008.
This initiative is sponsored by the Faculty Senate Faculty Affairs Committee in cooperation with the University Libraries. This initiative is funded through Clarion University-Wide Faculty Development CommitteeÆs Presidential Advancement Award over a three-year period.
