Rourke addresses Catholic Worker
Dr. Thomas Rourke, associate professor of political science, will address the Catholic Worker in New York on Oct. 11, on the topic, "Political Influence of Neoconservatism in the Catholic Church in the United States."

Rourke authors book
Dr. Thomas Rourke, associate professor of political science at Clarion University, is the author of a book, "A Theory of Personalism." RourkeÆs wife, Dr. Rosita Chazarreta Rourke, an adjunct professor of Spanish at Duquesne University, co-authored the final chapter devoted to cultural matters.

Rourke contributes to Encyclopedia of Catholic Social Thought
Dr. Thomas Rourke, chair of Clarion UniversityÆs Department of Political Science, Sociology, and Philosophy, contributed to the newly released, "Encyclopedia of Catholic Social Thought, Social Science, and Social Policy." The two-volume set was a collaboration of more than 300 Catholic scholars who publish in the field both domestically and internationally.

Dr. Thomas Rourke, chair of Clarion UniversityÆs Department of Political Science, Sociology, and Philosophy, is the second speaker in the Faculty Author Seminar Series. His presentation is Monday, Oct. 22 at 12:15 p.m. the Center for Academic Excellence, Level A, Carlson Library.
