Olivas-Lujan to speak in FRF series
Dr. Miguel Olivas-Lujan, professor of administrative science at Clarion University, will be speaking as part of the College of Business AdministrationÆs second Faculty Research Forum (FRF). The presentation will be Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 3:30 p.m. in 206 Still Hall. Light refreshments will be served.

Dr. Miguel R. Olivas-Lujan, professor of administrative science at Clarion University, received a grant to participate in the 2nd Bentley Global Business Ethics Symposium at Bentley College, Waltham, Mass., sponsored by State Street Corp. The theme for this event is "Corporate Social Responsibility in the 21st Century: Coping with Globalization."

Dr. Miguel Olivas, professor of management at Clarion University, along with colleagues from a variety of countries, have published a book that summarizes the research they have been conducting over the past six years.

Olivas-Lujan to co-facilitate executive summit
Dr. Miguel Olivas-Lujan, professor of management at Clarion UniversityÆs College of Business Administration is one of the Round Table Facilitators during this weekend's Hispanic Executive Summit in Orlando, Fla., Disney Institute. The selective Summit, where participation is by invitation only to maximize its beneficial effect on attendants, brings together business executives from across the country to help them identify personal strategies to enhance their professional careers in an informed and balanced manner.

Dr. Miguel Olivas-Lujan, professor of management at Clarion University, is co-author of a an article published in the "International Journal of Manpower." The article, "e-HRM in Mexico: adapting innovations for global competitiveness," was co-authored with Jacobo Ramirez and Laura Zapata-Cantu, both faculty members at Tecnologico de Monterrey, Monterrey, Mexico.

Olivas-Lujan's successful women book gets perfect scores in Brazil
The book Successful Professional Women of the Americas (Elgar, 2006; ISBN: 1-84542-437-9), co-edited by Dr. Miguel R. Olivas-Lujßn, professor of management at Clarion University, received the highest possible evaluation granted by the Brazilian Educational System to an edited, research-based book this year.

Olivas-Lujan writes book review
Dr. Miguel R. Olivas-Lujan, professor of administrative science at Clarion University, wrote a review of the book, "La mondialisation et ses effets: nouveaux debat," to be distributed by European Journal of International Management to itÆs subscribers. Olivas-Lujan and Gonzolex Chavez are also the co-authors of the first chapter of the book.

Dr. Miguel Olivas-Lujan, professor of administrative science at Clarion University, is the next speaker in the Faculty Author Seminar Series, Feb. 20, beginning at 12:15 p.m. in Level A of Carlson Library. The seminar is free and open to the public. A light lunch will be served at noon.

Dr. Miguel Olivas-Lujan, professor of administrative science at Clarion University and co-author of the book "Successful Women of the Americas," presented information and experiences pertaining to the book at the Faculty Author Seminar Series on Feb. 20.
