Lauren "The Intern Queen" Berger will present, "The Internship Solution: A Tell-All From the Intern Queen", Wednesday, Feb. 24, at noon in Level A of Carlson Library at Clarion University. Clarion University Career Services Center is sponsoring the program.

Berger received her nickname as "The Intern Queen" after completing 15 internships during her four years of college at the University of Central Florida-Orlando.

She travels around the country speaking to schools about the importance of internships. She currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif. where she helps educate students, parents, professors, and employers about internships. She has been featured on KTLA, FOX40, NBC-Jackson, Los Angeles Business Journal, E! News Online, Hollywood Bubble, New York Post, Hollywood Reporter, Chicago Public Radio, Orlando Sentinel, and Seventeen.

In 2006, Berger started her own intern company, Intern Queen Inc., to raise internship awareness. In July 2008, with help from investor Marshall Herskovitz, she created "The Quarterlife Internship Program Powered by the Intern Queen" (www.quarterlife.com/intern) to provide free listings of internships for students. The site also features her blog, which provides internship, interview, and resume advice for employers, students, parents, and professors.

She recently signed an endorsement deal with University of Dreams, an internship company out of Sillicon Valley that provides all-inclusive summer programs for students all over the world. She is now the spokesperson for the company.

Clarion University is the high-achieving, nationally recognized, comprehensive university that delivers a personal and challenging academic experience.
