            Attorney and public relations professional Margaret Bryant will present a guest seminar in to Clarion University's MMAJ 443: Public Relations Writing class, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. in 150 Becker Hall. All faculty and students are invited to attend.

             In a presentation titled, "Public Relations Writing for Law Firms," Bryant will provide an overview of public relations in the legal profession, and discuss how law firms use public relations writing and marketing techniques. She will also show students how they can prepare for careers in law firm marketing.
             In addition to being an attorney, Bryant is a freelance writer and editor with 25 years of experience in the field of legal and business communications. From 1987 to 2006, she was editor-in-chief and a senior member of the marketing department of Jackson Lewis LLP, a national law firm representing employers exclusively in workplace law and related litigation.    
             Since launching her own business as a freelance writer, editor, and consultant in 2007, Bryant has maintained an active working relationship with her former firm in a variety of capacities involving communications and marketing, including newsletter drafting and publication, website content production, marketing brochure consulting and drafting, representation at professional conferences and events, and special research and writing projects.  
             Bryant is a graduate of Stetson University's College of Law (JD). She is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the U. S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U. S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits.
